Together, PixyVue is about rediscovering your memories, not as files or folders, but as stories worth reliving — beautifully, simply, and whenever you want.

Does PixyVue have an app for my device?

PixyVue has iOS and Android apps for your smart phone. For viewing, apps are available for Apple TV, Roku TV, Samsung, LG and most of the major brands of Android Smart TVs. Apps are also available for Firestick, Roku and other streaming devices. For more information, please visit our Apps page.

Are there desktop apps for Windows, macOS, or Linux?

With PixyVue, you do not need any desktop apps. You can visit the PixyVue website and access all the features directly from the website.

How do I upload from my computer?

Use the PixyVue website on your Mac or Windows PC. Drag & drop photos or folders into the uploader. Keep the tab open until uploads are complete and you are good to go.

Can I transfer my photos from Google or Apple?

Yes. We suggest traditional transfer process from both Google and Apple. Just takeout your data, and drop it on our website and you are set! Learn more about transferring photos →

How can I watch PixyVue on my TV?

Access the app store on your Smart TV or Streaming Device. Look for PixyVue and Install our TV apps from the app store and enjoy your media on the big screen.

How secure is my data?

Your privacy and security are our top priorities. PixyVue uses industry-standard 256-bit encryption to protect your files both in transit and at rest. All files are encrypted before storage, ensuring that only authorized devices logged into your account can decrypt and access your files. Does PixyVue support video files?

Yes! PixyVue supports both photos and videos. You can upload, organize, and view your video files just like your photos. Videos are stored with the same security and privacy protections as your photos.

Does PixyVue compress my photos?

No. PixyVue stores your photos and videos in their original quality. We don't compress or reduce the quality of your media files. Your memories are preserved exactly as you captured them.

Can I download my photos?

Yes, you can download your photos and videos from PixyVue. Your original files are always accessible, and you can download them individually or in bulk. The download limit depends on your plan - check your account settings for details.

How do I enable automatic uploads from my phone?

After installing the PixyVue mobile app (iOS or Android), open the app and sign in to your account. Grant permissions for photo access when prompted. Then, go to the app settings and enable automatic uploads. Once enabled, new photos and videos from your device will automatically back up to your PixyVue account.

What happens if I exceed my storage limit?

If you approach or exceed your storage limit, we'll notify you via email. You can upgrade to a larger plan at any time from your account settings. If you need more storage temporarily, you can also delete unwanted files or duplicates to free up space.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When you upgrade, you'll immediately get access to the additional storage. When you downgrade, the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Make sure you have enough storage for your current files before downgrading.

What file formats does PixyVue support?

PixyVue supports all common photo formats (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, RAW, and more) and video formats (MP4, MOV, AVI, and more). If you have a specific file format question, please contact support for confirmation.
